Sizing Your Steam Shower
Multiply your shower's length x width x height to get its volume in cubic feet, then choose a generator rated at or above that number. Per Thermasol, wall materials do not change the generator size. For 9 ft ceilings, size up one model; for 10 ft ceilings, size up two (or contact us to confirm). Not sure? Send us your dimensions and we'll help you pick.
Installation & Space Requirements
The generator can be installed up to 50 feet from the shower in a finished, climate-controlled space protected from the weather, with at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides. Keep it accessible for service — don't enclose it behind walls or inside a bench — and install it flat and level. Build the steam enclosure from non-porous, moisture-resistant materials such as porcelain or ceramic tile, tempered glass, and sealed grout (natural stone must be sealed regularly), with rust-resistant fixtures and moisture-safe seating such as teak. Common Questions
Can I add Thermasol lighting or sound?
Yes. The HydroVive rainhead and the Serenity light and sound systems work only with ThermaTouch or SignaTouch controls, not MicroTouch. The Thermasol LED steam shower light runs on a standard switch, so it works with any control.
Do I need a water filter?
We recommend one. The EWS Heater Guard 3/4" filtration system protects the generator from sediment and scale.
Do stone walls change the size I need?
Not for Thermasol. Thermasol sizes by room volume and ceiling height only; size up for ceilings over 8 ft. Our steam generator sizing calculator applies these rules.

Return Policy
We offer a 30 day return period for unopened and uninstalled items shipped via ground shipping. Items shipped via LTL such as sauna rooms are not able to be returned.
If an item you received is defective, you must first go through the manufacturer for a warranty replacement. You may then return the brand new replacement from the manufacturer to us for a refund if within 30 days of your initial shipment.

Yes, simply select Truemed as your payment option at checkout on eligible products and use your FSA or HSA card as you would any other credit card. If you do not have sufficient HSA/FSA funds, you can split your payment between your credit card and HSA/FSA card.
