A new addition to Amerec's line of Scale-X Water Treatment Systems designed to extend the life of steam bath generators. The ASX120 is designed for use with residential or light commercial installations. The ASX120 features a Scale-X2 filter to reduce scale buildup. It will also reduce chlorine and sediment from water by trapping particulates in a second filter as water passes through the system. This system can be used with any brand of steam generator.

• Scale buildup in steam generating equipment is known to reduce the life of the equipment and possibly shut it down totally. Scale is developed primarily from calcium and magnesium in water and is measured in hardness. The Scale-X2 filter in the ASX120 system instantly transforms dissolved hardened ions into microscopic particles that become suspended in solution and can no longer form scale compounds.
